Highlights of Recent Activities

Our recent Bathukamma celebrations were a resounding success, with over 800+ attendees coming together to honor this vibrant floral festival. The event featured stunning floral arrangements, traditional dances, and spirited participation that truly reflected the essence of Telangana’s culture. The highlight of the evening was the colorful Bathukamma procession, accompanied by lively music and dance, creating a festive atmosphere that brought the community closer.

We were honored to welcome our esteemed chief guests, including Mohammad Yaseen, MLA Multicultural Kiran Randhawa, Chestermere Councillor; Chantelle De Jonge, MLA Chestermere-Strathmore; Randy Upright, CEO of Manpower; and Moez Maherali, Treaty 7 First Nations Chiefs Association.

A special highlight of the event was a heartfelt video message from Professor Kodandaram, who appreciated our efforts in organizing such a meaningful celebration. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous vegetarian feast, adding to the festive spirit. The beautifully arranged Bathukammas brought color and joy, creating a serene and celebratory atmosphere. It was a memorable evening, filled with tradition, togetherness, and pride in our cultural roots.
